Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by opening the can of jellied cranberry sauce and gently slice it into ½-inch thick discs using a sharp knife. Lay the slices out neatly on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Place the baking sheet with the cranberry slices in the freezer and allow them to chill for at least 30 minutes.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate chips with a tablespoon of coconut oil. Microwave for 1 minute, stir, then heat in 15-second bursts until smooth.
- Once the cranberry slices are frozen solid, dip each slice into the melted chocolate, allowing excess chocolate to drip off back into the bowl.
- Return the baking sheet with chocolate-covered slices to the freezer for another 30 minutes to set the coating.
- Once the chocolate has fully set, remove the bites from the freezer and let them rest at room temperature for a few minutes before serving.
