  • 4 cups Cornflakes or substitute with Rice Krispies or Shredded Wheat
  • 200 g Milk Chocolate can use dark chocolate for deeper taste
  • 100 g Butter or Margarine use block margarine for best results
  • 1/2 cup Golden Syrup maple syrup works as an alternative
For the Topping
  • 150 g Chocolate Mini Eggs or any small chocolate eggs for variety

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Lightly grease a 12-hole bun tray with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Combine milk chocolate, butter or margarine, and golden syrup in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir continuously until melted, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Pour cornflakes into a large mixing bowl. Once the chocolate mixture is smooth, pour it over the cornflakes and gently fold to coat.
  4. Spoon the mixture into the prepared bun tray, filling each hole about two-thirds full and press down in the center to create a hollow.
  5. While the mixture is still soft, place a few chocolate mini eggs into each nest.
  6. Transfer the tray to the refrigerator and chill for 1-2 hours until firm.
  7. Remove nests from the tray, arrange on a platter or gift boxes, and enjoy!
