  • 1 cup Pretzel Sticks Acts as the butterfly body.
For the Sweet Coating
  • 2 cups Pastel-Colored Candy Melts Colors: pink, blue, green, orange; can substitute with white chocolate melts.
For Decoration
  • 1 cup White Non-Pareil Sprinkles Get creative with other sprinkles!
For Setting
  • Wax or Parchment Paper Prevents sticking as pretzels set.

Equipment

  • Microwave-safe bowls
  • Tweezers or forks
  • Wax or parchment paper

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare your workspace; lay out a sheet of wax or parchment paper on a flat surface.
  2. Place your pastel-colored candy melts in microwave-safe bowls. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring until fully melted.
  3. Dip a mini pretzel into the melted candy, ensuring it’s completely coated. Allow excess candy to drip off before laying it on the wax paper.
  4. While the melted candy is still wet, add white non-pareil sprinkles to create a dotted effect on the wings.
  5. Allow your pretzels to sit at room temperature until they harden, about 30 minutes, or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Peel the Butterfly Pretzels off the wax paper and arrange them on a platter.
