  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Peel and dice the potatoes and chop the onion and garlic.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté for 3–4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, seasoning with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika. Cook for 6–8 minutes until browned.
  4. Pour in beef broth, simmer for 2–3 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Combine diced potatoes with the beef mixture. Fold in sour cream and half of the cheese.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish, top with remaining cheese.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until cheese is golden brown.
  9. Let the casserole rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
