  • 1 cup dill pickles fresh is ideal
  • 1 cup additional pickles for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions for Cuban Casserole
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat, combine the whipping cream, softened cream cheese, and yellow mustard. Stir for about 3-5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Add the pulled pork, sliced ham, half of the chopped dill pickles, and half of the shredded Swiss cheese. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly in the skillet and sprinkle the remaining Swiss cheese on top, then layer the rest of the chopped dill pickles.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes before garnishing with additional pickles.
