Cooking Instructions
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
- Add the chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper. Sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until brown and cooked through. Remove and let rest.
- Lower heat and add 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter. Melt and then add 4 cloves of minced garlic, sautéing until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Pour in 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of heavy cream. Add 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to taste. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add 8 ounces of wide egg noodles, pressing gently into the liquid. Boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 8-10 minutes until noodles are tender.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and stir in 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.
