Cooking Instructions
- Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- Sear the chicken in a skillet with 1 tablespoon butter, seasoned with salt, pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter, then sauté fresh garlic and optional red pepper flakes for 30-60 seconds. Deglaze with chicken broth, then stir in heavy cream and remaining Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and toss with pasta. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water as necessary.
- Serve pasta garnished with fresh parsley immediately.
