  • 1 cup Chicken Broth Vegetable broth works for a vegetarian option.
  • 1 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese Avoid pre-shredded cheese for best melting.
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning Omit for simpler flavor.
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Optional for added heat.

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Cook the pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  2. Sear the chicken in a skillet with 1 tablespoon butter, seasoned with salt, pepper, and half of the Italian seasoning for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter, then sauté fresh garlic and optional red pepper flakes for 30-60 seconds. Deglaze with chicken broth, then stir in heavy cream and remaining Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Whisk in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and toss with pasta. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water as necessary.
  5. Serve pasta garnished with fresh parsley immediately.
