Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and Italian seasoning. Let sit for a few minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the seasoned chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet.
  3. Reduce heat, add butter, and then sauté minced garlic for about 1 minute.
  4. Stir in lemon zest and juice, then add chicken broth and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add potato gnocchi to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they float.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
  7. Return the sliced chicken to the skillet, stir gently, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  8. Optional: Add fresh spinach and wilt for 1-2 minutes before serving.
