Preparation Steps
- In a large bowl, combine warm water and sugar, stirring gently. Sprinkle active dry yeast over and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- Add all-purpose flour, kosher salt, and olive oil to the yeast mixture. Mix with a wooden spoon until sticky dough forms.
- Cover the bowl with a towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and drizzle olive oil in a baking pan.
