Step-by-Step Instructions for Crockpot Pepper Steak
- Begin by slicing the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.
- Next, take your 3 large bell peppers and slice them into thin strips, layering them on top of the beef in the crockpot.
- In a separate bowl, combine minced garlic, beef broth, beef bouillon cubes, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, ground ginger, and black pepper, whisking until well combined.
- Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the beef and bell peppers in the crockpot.
- Cover your crockpot and set it to low heat, cooking for about 6 hours.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry and add it in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
- Once done, stir the Crockpot Pepper Steak and serve hot over steamed rice or egg noodles.
