Step-by-Step Instructions for Crockpot Pepper Steak
  1. Begin by slicing the beef sirloin into thin strips, about 1/4 inch wide.
  2. Next, take your 3 large bell peppers and slice them into thin strips, layering them on top of the beef in the crockpot.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine minced garlic, beef broth, beef bouillon cubes, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, ground ginger, and black pepper, whisking until well combined.
  4. Pour the prepared sauce evenly over the beef and bell peppers in the crockpot.
  5. Cover your crockpot and set it to low heat, cooking for about 6 hours.
  6. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch with cold water to create a slurry and add it in the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  7. Once done, stir the Crockpot Pepper Steak and serve hot over steamed rice or egg noodles.
