Preparation Steps
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Pound them to an even thickness for even cooking.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add avocado oil or olive oil. Once hot, place seasoned chicken in the skillet.
- Cook the chicken for about 4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove and let rest.
- While the chicken is resting, prepare salad bowls with romaine lettuce, strawberries, and bacon if using.
- Chop the rested chicken and layer it on top of the salads with crumbled cheese, sliced avocado, and red onion. Season with salt, pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.
