Step-by-Step Instructions for Crab Stuffed Avocado
- Preheat your oven's broiler to high.
- Cut two ripe avocados in half and gently remove the pits. Mash the flesh of two halves in a mixing bowl until slightly creamy but still chunky.
- Add mayonnaise and lemon juice to the mashed avocado and stir until smooth.
- Gently fold in lump crabmeat, cilantro, chives, serrano pepper, capers, and black pepper.
- Spoon the crab filling into the reserved avocado halves.
- Arrange stuffed avocados on a baking pan, sprinkle cheese and paprika on top.
- Broil the avocados for 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
