Preparation Steps
- Prepare marinade by whisking olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt and pepper in a bowl.
- Marinate fish by coating fillets in the prepared marinade and juice of one lime; cover and set aside for 15-30 minutes.
- Cook fish in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Prepare slaw by combining green cabbage, purple cabbage, carrot, and cilantro in a large bowl; toss well.
- Make dressing by whisking together mayonnaise, lime juice, apple cider vinegar, honey, and Dijon mustard in a separate bowl.
- Chill slaw in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
- Warm tortillas in a dry skillet for about 30 seconds on each side, until soft.
- Assemble tacos by placing fish on warmed tortillas, topping with slaw and optional toppings.
