Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Whisk and scramble eggs. Heat neutral oil in a skillet, whisk eggs, pour into skillet, and cook for 3-4 minutes. Set aside.
  2. Prepare the sauce. Combine soy sauce, mirin, sesame oil, and sugar in a bowl, whisk until smooth.
  3. Sauté the Spam. Dice Spam, sauté in the skillet for 5-6 minutes, add sauce, cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  4. Mix the rice mixture. Combine rice, sautéed Spam, scrambled eggs, scallions, mayo, seaweed, and furikake in a bowl.
  5. Shape the rice balls. Form rice mixture into balls the size of golf balls, using wet hands to prevent sticking.
  6. Serve and enjoy. Serve warm or chilled with soy sauce for dipping, garnish with additional scallions or sesame seeds.
