Directions
  1. Start by washing and hulling 1 cup of fresh strawberries. Puree until smooth and reserve some for topping.

  3. In another bowl, whisk together 1 cup of milk, 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients and fold in the strawberry puree gently.
  5. Preheat your waffle iron and grease it lightly with cooking spray or melted butter.
