  • 1 teaspoon White Vinegar Can be omitted

For Dusting
  • 1/4 cup Cornstarch/Mochiko Flour For dusting to prevent sticking

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash and hull strawberries, then dry completely.
  2. Dust countertop with cornstarch or mochiko flour.
  3. Mix mochiko flour and sugar in a bowl. Gradually add water, vinegar, and food coloring.
  4. Cover and microwave the mixture, stirring every minute for about four minutes until glossy.
  5. Dust hands with cornstarch and flatten portions of mochi into pancakes.
  6. Place an upside-down strawberry in the center, fold edges and pinch to seal.
  7. Cool, then serve on a plate dusted with cornstarch.
