- Begin by placing 4-5 fresh mint leaves into a cocktail shaker. Gently pull the leaves with your fingers to release their aromatic oils.
- Next, add in freshly squeezed lemon juice and simple syrup to the shaker with the muddled mint. Gently press the mixture for about 15 seconds.
- Pour in 2 ounces of gin and 1 ounce of elderflower liqueur. Fill the shaker with ice cubes about ¾ full.
- Seal your cocktail shaker tightly and shake it vigorously for about 20 seconds.
- Prepare a rocks glass filled with fresh ice cubes. Strain the cocktail mixture over the ice.
- Top your cocktail with club soda and gently stir to combine.
- Garnish with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of lemon before serving.
