Step-by-Step Instructions
- Start by rinsing about 2 cups of ripe strawberries under cool water, removing any stems. Slice them in half to assist with blending.
- Take 2 to 3 fresh lemons and roll them on the countertop to loosen the juices. Cut each lemon in half and squeeze until you have about ½ cup of fresh lemon juice.
- In a blender, combine the prepared strawberries, freshly squeezed lemon juice, ¼ cup of sugar or honey, and 1 cup of cold water. Blend on high speed for about 30 seconds until smooth.
- Gradually add about 2 cups of ice to the blender, blending on high for another 30 seconds or until thick and slushy.
- Taste the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or honey if needed. Blend briefly to mix any adjustments.
- Pour the Frozen Strawberry Lemonade into chilled glasses. Garnish with a slice of lemon or a fresh strawberry, and serve immediately.
