Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Pat the steak dry with paper towels, cut into bite-sized cubes, and season with salt and pepper. Let sit for 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add butter and melt until it turns light brown.
  3. Sear the steak cubes in a single layer for 3-4 minutes without moving, then flip and sear for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Transfer the browned steak to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
  5. In the hot skillet, add the potatoes in a single layer. Cook for 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until crispy.
  6. Add the seared steak back into the skillet with minced garlic and leftover juices. Stir and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Plate the dish and garnish with freshly chopped parsley or chives. Serve warm.
