Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour, ¾ cup of sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, and ½ teaspoon of salt. Whisk them together until uniform and free of lumps.
  2. In a separate bowl, crack 2 eggs and add 1 cup of heavy cream. Whisk until smooth and frothy. Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture, stirring gently.
  3. In a deep frying pan, pour in about 2 inches of neutral oil and heat over medium heat to 350°F.
  4. Scoop small portions of dough and drop them into the hot oil. Fry for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook the other side.
  5. Once cooked, use a slotted spoon to remove them from the oil and place on paper towels to drain excess oil. Roll warm donut holes in granulated sugar.
