Instructions

  2. Prepare the Strawberry Compote: In a saucepan, combine fresh strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until thickened. Cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  3. Create Chocolate-Covered Strawberries: Melt chocolate chips in a microwave, dip fresh strawberries, and let them set on parchment.
  4. Assemble the Parfaits: In clear glasses, layer cake cubes, mousse, and compote, repeating layers and finishing with mousse and a chocolate-covered strawberry on top.
  5. Chill and Serve: Cover parfaits with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
