- In a large mixing bowl, mash 3 ripe bananas until smooth. Add in 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup melted unsalted butter, 2 large eggs, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. Stir until well blended.
- Sprinkle 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 teaspoon salt over the wet mixture, then gently fold in 1 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
- Mix together 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan, then sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter.
- Pour the remaining banana batter over the cinnamon sugar layer and top with the remaining cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Gently swirl the batter with a knife in a figure-eight motion.
- Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, or until the top turns golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 to 15 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack.
- Mix 1 cup powdered sugar with 1-2 tablespoons milk for the glaze, then drizzle over the cooled banana bread.

Notes
Ensure to use very ripe bananas for the best flavor. Don't overmix to keep the bread tender. Store in an airtight container for freshness.
