  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each, then add vanilla extract.
  5. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold in chopped strawberries, being careful not to overmix.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  8. Bake for 75-85 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Tent with foil if browning too quickly.
  9. Cool in the pan for 15-20 minutes, then invert onto a wire rack.
  10. For the glaze, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and strawberry puree if using.
