Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, finely chopped onion, fresh cilantro, minced garlic, and diced jalapeño. Sprinkle in ground cumin, paprika, lime juice, shredded sharp cheddar cheese, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix by hand.
- Shape the mixture into six equal burger patties, about ¾ inch thick. Make a small indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F to 400°F). Lightly oil the grill grates to prevent sticking.
- Place the turkey burgers on the grill. Cook for 5–6 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 5–6 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Remove patties from the grill and let them rest for 3–5 minutes to allow juices to redistribute.
- Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Place each patty on a bun and top with guacamole, slices of cheese, fresh tomato, and lettuce.

Notes
For the best burgers, handle the ground turkey gently and avoid overmixing. Chill the patties before grilling for extra juiciness.
