Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt 226 grams of unsalted butter over medium heat until browned and let cool slightly.
  3. Combine browned butter with 200 grams of white granulated sugar and 165 grams of light brown sugar in a bowl and mix until smooth. Add 2 large eggs and 2 tsp of vanilla extract, mixing until creamy.
  4. In a separate bowl, sift together 310 grams of all-purpose flour, 2 tsp of baking powder, and ½ tsp of salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients until smooth.
  5. Spread the churro dough evenly into the prepared baking pan. Combine 50 grams of granulated sugar with 1 tsp of ground cinnamon and sprinkle over the dough.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean. Avoid overbaking.
