  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest freshly grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon optional
For the Glaze
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar sugar alternatives can be used
  • 1/4 cup Cream half-and-half is a substitute

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  2. Cut the croissants into 1-inch pieces and scatter them in the baking dish. Sprinkle the mixed berries over the croissants.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, lemon zest, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the croissants and berries, gently pressing down to absorb the custard.
  5. Cover the casserole and refrigerate overnight or for at least 8 hours.
  6. Remove the casserole from the fridge and let it sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. While baking, whisk together powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla extract for the glaze.
  9. Once baked, cool for 5 minutes, drizzle with glaze, and serve warm.
