For the Chicken
  • 2 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts can substitute with chicken thighs
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder or fresh garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder or fresh onions
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
For the Marinade
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce choose according to dietary preferences
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar or lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Honey omit for sugar-free version
For Garnishing
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Parsley optional, for garnish

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Trim excess fat from the chicken breasts and pound to an even thickness of about ¾ inch.
  2. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  3. Whisk together the barbecue sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, and honey until smooth.
  4. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 15 minutes, covered in the fridge.
  5. Preheat the Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat (approximately 400°F).
  6. Lightly coat the griddle with oil and place the marinated chicken on it. Cook for 5-7 minutes.
  7. Flip the chicken, brush with reserved marinade, and cook for another 5-7 minutes until it reaches 165°F.
  8. Rest the chicken for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
