- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, fresh parsley, ground cumin, ground coriander, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Wet your hands slightly and form the mixture into oval-shaped patties, approximately 10-12 in total.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (200–220°C / 400–425°F) and lightly oil the grates.
- Place the kofta on the grill and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden-brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 75°C / 165°F).
- In a separate bowl, mix the plain yogurt, freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a sprinkle of salt. Stir and adjust seasoning.
- Remove the kofta from the grill, let them rest briefly, and serve with the garlic yogurt sauce and optional garnishes.
