Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Wash the red new potatoes thoroughly and cut them into 1-inch pieces.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, and water, whisking until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Heat neutral oil in a non-stick pan, then add prepared potato pieces and cook for 5-6 minutes until lightly golden.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the potatoes, cover, and cook on low heat for an additional 5-7 minutes.
  5. Remove the lid and increase heat; let the sauce reduce for 3-5 minutes until it thickens.
  6. Transfer the glazed potatoes to a serving dish and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
