Ingredients
  

For the Salad
  • 4-5 pieces Fresh Carrots Julienned
  • 2-3 cloves Garlic Minced
For the Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons Rice Vinegar Can substitute with apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar Can use honey or agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 1-2 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel and julienne the fresh carrots into thin strips.
  2. Mince the garlic and add it to the bowl with the carrots.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together rice vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes to make the dressing.
  4. Pour the dressing over the carrot and garlic mixture and toss to coat.
  5. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Serve chilled or at room temperature, garnished with sesame seeds.
