  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil For sautéing and frying

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add diced onions and sauté for about 5 minutes until translucent. Incorporate minced garlic for additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the sautéed onions, garlic, spinach, ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, and spices. Season with salt and pepper, and mix until just combined.
  3. Divide the mixture and shape it into about eight patties, each ½ inch thick. Refrigerate for about 30 minutes to firm up.
  4. In the same skillet, heat remaining olive oil over medium heat. Add patties and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Transfer the cooked patties to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil and serve warm with garnishes or a salad.
