Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine sour cream, softened cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Add your chopped cooked chicken or beef, green onion, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Blend thoroughly until it forms a rich, creamy mixture.
  3. Take your French bread loaf and cut off the top to create a 'lid.' Hollow out the center, leaving about a ½ inch crust around the edges.
  4. Spoon the dip mixture into the hollowed-out bread loaf, packing it gently. Replace the top and wrap it in aluminum foil.
  5. Place the wrapped bread bowl on a baking sheet and bake for 1 hour until hot and bubbly.
  6. Carefully unwrap the aluminum foil and serve immediately with reserved bread cubes, crackers, or tortilla chips.
