  2. Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper, placing them in a single layer in the baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together apple cider, minced garlic, honey, Dijon mustard, balsamic vinegar, and thyme until combined.
  4. Coat the chicken thighs with the prepared glaze using a basting brush or spoon.
  5. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C) and the glaze is bubbling.
  6. Allow to rest for 5 minutes after baking, then drizzle any remaining glaze over before serving.
