- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease the cast iron skillet with unsalted butter.
- In a large bowl, combine sliced fresh peaches, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch. Toss gently and let sit for 10 minutes.
- In another bowl, mix the unsalted butter, brown sugar, oats, all-purpose flour, cinnamon, and salt until crumbly.
- Pour the peach filling into the greased skillet and spread it out evenly. Sprinkle the crisp topping over the peaches.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until the topping is golden brown and edges are bubbling.
- Allow to cool for 10–15 minutes before serving.
