- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C). Gather your ingredients and prepare your baking sheet.
- Cut the jalapeños in half, remove seeds, and roast them cut-side up on the baking sheet for about 20 minutes.
- Let the roasted jalapeños cool, then slice them into smaller pieces.
- Spread peanut butter on one slice of bread. Layer with bacon slices and jalapeño pieces.
- Spread cherry preserves on another slice of bread and place it cherry side down on top of the sandwich.
- Cut the sandwich in half diagonally and serve immediately, perhaps with iced tea.
