- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reserve 1/2 cup of the cooking water before draining the pasta. Do not rinse the pasta.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over low heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add cream cheese and reserved cooking water to the skillet. Stir until the cream cheese melts into a creamy sauce.
- Sprinkle in grated Parmesan and mix until blended. Adjust sauce thickness with reserved water if needed.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce. Serve immediately with extra cheese and pepper if desired.
