  • 0.5 teaspoon Cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt sea salt or kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice fresh juice preferred

Step-by-Step Instructions for 5-Minute Spicy Chickpeas
  1. Start by opening a can of chickpeas, drain and rinse them under cold water in a fine-mesh strainer.
  2. In a non-stick skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat for about 1 minute.
  3. Sprinkle in ½ teaspoon each of garlic powder, cayenne pepper, smoked paprika, and cumin into the heated oil.
  4. Add the rinsed and drained chickpeas to the skillet, stirring well to coat them evenly.
  5. Remove the skillet from heat and squeeze fresh lemon juice over the spicy chickpeas.
