- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and salt. Gradually add flour until the mixture is crumbly. Press two-thirds into the baking pan as the crust.
- Toss thinly sliced apples with ground cinnamon and nutmeg and layer over the crust.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples and crumble the remaining mixture on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
- Allow to cool completely in the pan before lifting out to slice.
