Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken thighs thoroughly with this mixture and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the marinated chicken thighs for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  3. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, crumbled feta, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Once the chicken is cooked, slice it into strips. Warm the pita bread and spread tzatziki on each pita before layering in the chicken, tomatoes, cucumber, and onion.
