Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the cooked chicken seasoned with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of cooked pasta, 2 cups of marinara sauce, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix thoroughly.
  4. Gently fold the chicken mixture into the pasta mixture. Stir until evenly incorporated.
  5. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour the combined mixture into the dish evenly.
  6. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously over the top.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let the casserole cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
