- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the cooked chicken seasoned with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of cooked pasta, 2 cups of marinara sauce, half of the grated Parmesan cheese, and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese. Mix thoroughly.
- Gently fold the chicken mixture into the pasta mixture. Stir until evenly incorporated.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and pour the combined mixture into the dish evenly.
- Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese generously over the top.
- Cover with aluminum foil, and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for a few minutes and garnish with fresh basil or parsley before serving.
