Cooking Instructions
  1. Pat the beef brisket dry and rub the spice mixture over it. Let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear the brisket for 2-3 minutes on each side.
  3. Transfer brisket to slow cooker, add beef broth, barbecue sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, sliced onion, and minced garlic. Cook on LOW for 8 hours or in the oven at 300°F for 3-4 hours.
  4. Remove the brisket and rest it for 10 minutes, then shred it into bite-sized pieces.
  5. In the skillet, melt butter and add brisket drippings, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Toss the brisket in this mixture and cook for 5-10 minutes until caramelized.
  6. Serve on brioche buns, with mashed potatoes, or in tacos.
