Marinating and Cooking
- Combine the beef, olive oil, minced garlic, dried oregano, fresh lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a large mixing bowl. Let sit for at least 15 minutes.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté chopped onion and diced bell pepper for 5-7 minutes until soft.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally until browned.
- Pour in beef broth and scrape up any flavorful bits. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat slightly.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes, checking occasionally. Adjust with water or broth as needed.
- Taste and add salt, pepper, or lemon juice as necessary. Serve hot, garnished with parsley and lemon wedges.
