Method
 

Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Allow to sit for about 5 to 10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and beaten egg to the mixture and stir gently until well combined.
  3. Gradually incorporate flour into the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
  4. Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for 8 to 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Gently punch down the dough, divide into 12 pieces, and shape into balls. Arrange in a greased baking dish.
  7. Cover the dish and let the rolls rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
