For the Liquid Caramel
  • 1 cup Liquid Caramel Try homemade or store-bought for ease.

Method
 

Baking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs until pale and fluffy, then add the milk and melted butter.
  4. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
  6. Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan, drizzle liquid caramel over it, then top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before lifting out and cooling completely on a wire rack.
