Baking Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs until pale and fluffy, then add the milk and melted butter.
- Gradually pour the wet mixture into the bowl of dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
- Grease an 8x8-inch baking dish and line it with parchment paper.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared baking pan, drizzle liquid caramel over it, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for approximately 30 minutes, until a toothpick inserted comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before lifting out and cooling completely on a wire rack.
