Preparation Steps
  1. Rinse 2 cups of rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions, usually bringing it to a boil and then simmering for about 18 minutes. Let sit covered for 10 minutes to fluff.
  2. Cut the sushi-grade ahi tuna into ½-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes. Fold in sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Allow to marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. Spoon a generous portion of warm rice into each serving bowl. Top with a handful of your preferred salad greens.
  4. Scoop the marinated tuna onto the rice and greens, allowing some marinade to drizzle down for extra flavor. Garnish with toppings like sliced avocado or crispy seaweed.
