- Rinse 2 cups of rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook the rice according to package instructions, usually bringing it to a boil and then simmering for about 18 minutes. Let sit covered for 10 minutes to fluff.
- Cut the sushi-grade ahi tuna into ½-inch cubes and place them in a mixing bowl. Add soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and crushed red pepper flakes. Fold in sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Allow to marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Spoon a generous portion of warm rice into each serving bowl. Top with a handful of your preferred salad greens.
- Scoop the marinated tuna onto the rice and greens, allowing some marinade to drizzle down for extra flavor. Garnish with toppings like sliced avocado or crispy seaweed.
