  • 1/4 cup honey maple syrup can be a vegan alternative
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar apple cider vinegar can be used as a substitute
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil can be omitted for a lighter taste
For Garnish
  • 2 pieces green onions, sliced chives can also be used
  • sesame seeds for garnish
Seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions in a pot of salted boiling water, usually around 4 to 6 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add 4 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the chicken breasts to the skillet, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5 to 7 minutes per side until browned and cooked through.
  4. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Pour this mixture into the skillet, scraping the bottom for flavor, and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and add it back to the skillet along with the cooked noodles, tossing gently to coat evenly.
  6. Serve garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
