  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add egg, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and zest.
  4. Sift in flour, baking powder, and salt into the wet mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the flour-coated strawberries gently to distribute evenly.
