Method
 

Dough Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, combine warm whole milk and sugar, stirring until dissolved. Sprinkle in yeast and let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Create a well, add beaten eggs, vanilla extract, and frothy yeast mixture. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1-2 hours.
  5. Punch down dough, turn out onto a floured surface, divide into three equal portions, and braid into a loaf.
  6. Cover the shaped loaf with a towel and let rise until puffed, about 30-60 minutes.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown. Test doneness with a toothpick.
  9. Once baked, cool on a wire rack and prepare glaze.
  10. Drizzle glaze over cooled bread and add sprinkles.
