Ingredients

For the Smoothie
  • 2 cups Diced Frozen Mango Substitution: Use fresh mango if frozen is unavailable; adjust for texture.
  • 1 small Frozen Banana Substitution: Any frozen fruit can be used for flavor; banana enhances creaminess.
  • 1 cup Unsweetened Almond Milk Substitution: Use any milk of choice; adjust quantity for desired thickness.
  • 1/2 cup Whole Milk Greek Yogurt Substitution: Replace with full-fat coconut milk or dairy-free yogurt for a vegan option.
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice Note: Use freshly squeezed for best results.
  • Fresh Mint or Basil Leaves Note: Can be muddled into the smoothie for infused flavor.

Equipment

  • High-Speed Blender

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Gather your high-speed blender on a stable surface. Add the diced frozen mango and frozen banana to the blender base.
  2. Pour the unsweetened almond milk around the edges of the blender, allowing it to seep into the frozen fruit.
  3. Spoon in the whole milk Greek yogurt and the fresh lime juice, then secure the blender lid tightly and pulse the mixture.
  4. Blend on medium speed for about 30 seconds, pausing to scrape down the sides of the blender if necessary.
  5. Check the smoothie’s consistency after blending. If too thick, add a little more almond milk and blend again.
  6. Pour the smoothie into chilled glasses and garnish each serving with thawed mango cubes and a sprig of fresh mint or basil.
