Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your griddle or cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes. Lightly coat with oil or butter.
- Add 2 tablespoons of butter or oil to the hot griddle. Sauté sliced red bell pepper, poblano pepper, and onion for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Spread shaved ribeye or sirloin evenly across the griddle. Sear for 1-2 minutes until browned. Flip beef and season with salt and pepper, cooking for another 2-3 minutes.
- Drizzle Trybachan’s Original Sauce over the beef and mix thoroughly. Let simmer for 30-60 seconds.
- Incorporate sautéed veggies into the beef mixture and layer with slices of provolone and smoked Gouda cheese. Cover to melt cheese for about 30 seconds.
- Spread butter on hoagie rolls and toast cut-side down on the griddle for 30-60 seconds until golden. Scoop cheesy beef mixture into the rolls and serve hot.
